Built for STEM Students
Currently accepting a limited number of high school seniors for the 2026–2027 application cycle.

Your student has already done the hard work. Now, their application needs to communicate it.
Â
Admission Lens works with high school seniors who want their experiences, accomplishments, intellectual curiosity, and passion for STEM to come through clearly so their story is not lost in the pool of applications.

If this sounds like your student, Admission Lens is here to help.

Invested in Student Success
Admission Lens is obsessed with helping students submit the strongest application. Families deserve an admissions consultant who is just as invested in the process as they are. We also want to see your student win!

STEM
Admissions Expertise
Your student has worked hard, challenged themselves academically, pursued their STEM interests, and built experiences they are proud of. Former admissions experience at Caltech and Harvey Mudd brings an insider perspective on how to translate years of hard work into a college application.

Strongest
Application Possible
We work closely with your student to identify what is already strong, what needs refinement, and how they can authentically communicate their experiences, accomplishments, intellectual curiosity, and passion for STEM so their story is not lost in the applicant pool.

Meet the Founder
Kimberly OrtizÂ
Founder, Former Admission Officer, Admission Consultant, UCLA Alumna, UCLA Anderson MBA Candidate
After years of evaluating applications and making admissions decisions at highly selective institutions, I began working directly with students and families as an admissions consultant.

In my previous admissions consulting work, I supported more than 1,000 families and helped students successfully gain admission to selective STEM majors at universities including UCLA, USC, Purdue, and the University of Washington.

I created Admission Lens because I saw how often highly motivated STEM students had spent years challenging themselves academically, pursuing their STEM interests, and building experiences they were proud of. When it came time to apply to college, they faced a completely different challenge: turning years of hard work into an application that tells their story.

I believe a strong application should do more than list accomplishments. It should help an admissions officer understand the student behind those accomplishments. Their experiences, intellectual curiosity, values, and passion for STEM should come through clearly.

That is why I created Admission Lens: to help students put forward their strongest application and make sure their interest, hard work, and passion for STEM do not get lost in the pool of applications.
